The file transfers from the thumb drive OK, but when I open it , it is not readable. It looks like Chinese.

I am so confused. How would you load a program from a home computer to the shop computer? I'll try to follow instructions.

My indoor computer runs Windows 7. I used Via-Cad 6 to draw my part and save as a DXF R-12 file. I open the same DXF file in LazyCam and edit it. I then post it to Mach 3. It opens in Mach 3 fine. I test run in Mach 3. It works fine. Now how do I get this g-code program from my indoor computer, that is running Windows 7, to my shop computer that is running XP?  I tried using a thumb drive to transfer the program, but the shop computer doesn't recognize it. I know I need to save or convert it to some common format. Would some show me how to do that?
Thank you very much, I am a little computer slow, and I need some computer love here.

What is the proper way to cut a radius over an edge to make a .750" chamfer?  Do I need to program this in the z-y plane?

I have an Ajax controller also. I'm trying to use joypad. All the buttons and everything work, except  jogging. Let me know how this progresses.
