when using my z zero plate i find alot of pressure is placed on the plate before the z zero is activated.
this shows up more when using v bits.
is there some way of making the z zero routine more sensitive.

I have a wireless Targus keypad   i use the arrow keys to move the x,y,and z axis   this is without having to use anytype of geygrabber  [works great]
what i now need to add is the cycle start stop and feed hold     this is where i need help in setting this up
i have right click on my mach3 shortcut and insert c:\mach3\keygrabber.exe/pmach3mill
and that works.
now where do i go from there?
the cycle start stop and feed hold  is the only keys i need to add.
also is there a amplifer that i can add to increase the range of my targus keypad?
as i will be working on both ends of my 4x8 ft table.

i have been cutting a 1x2 inch mortise.
at  1 inch per min.  but i am not getting a uniform cut.
just wonder what adjustment i can make to correct this.

this is something i always wondered about.
lets say my hard drive crashed and i reinstalled mach3
and i had my settings saved.
can i just drag these settings into mach3/
or do i have to delete the xml folder that came with the new installation
then place my saved setting in its place?

i have been cutting some 1.5 inch circles in 1/2 ply  using a .375 bit
the problem i am having is that the circle in not coming out completly round.
the problem seem to happen where the bit enter the material.
there is a small teardrop in that area.
its in that area where the circle is not completly round.
can anyone help

When you hit feedhold, the tool will generally keep moving a little further before it stop.  but  the cutter continue spinning
is there some way to have the tool lift out of the way when you hit feedhold.

Is it possible to add a feed hold button that does the same as using the mouse and clicking the feed hold on the screen?
or somehow using a key board stroke.
its just the time it takes when using the mouse

On my mach3 folder there is a file called xmlbackups . is this the file i save in case my computer crash, and i need to
reinstall .
if so do i just place this file into the new installation.
or is it more than just that?
