Mach4 General Discussion / Material not cutting.

Even after 4 passes my 3mm plywood has not been cut through. Laser power is set to 45%  Mach4 wont allow me to set the laser higher than 45% the file runs ok but the laser does not turn on!  Laser draws 4.5 at 3.5Amps feed was varied between 100 and 1000mm with the same result. Can anyone help please.

10Watt+ Endurance laser.

I'm looking for a simple procedure to Auto zero my Z axis when an M6 tool change is executed.

My mach3 setup had an extra button on the screen for this.

Mach4 General Discussion / PWM and Mach4 Hobby setup

Finally my new machine is up and running and to prove it to myself I cut and engraved a new house name sign for my neighbor. But moving on......

Hopefully I can get some help here
I have Endurance 10W+ Laser and running Aspire 10.5 with a Warp9 ESS Smooth Stepper a C11 Rev8 BOB (All 5 inputs are used with limits and homing switches) so I have a C10 plugged directly into the Smooth stepper.

I could use some help in getting the laser setup with PWM in Mach4 Hobby. Specifically which boxes should be ticked in both the mach 4 settings and the ESS settings.

Vectric are selling a Laser post processor add on, does anyone know if this works with Endurance lasers and Mach4 Hobby.

Mach4 Plugins / Adding a plugin & lost Machine diagnostics

I'm well on the way with my new machine setup using ESS & Mach4 Hobby
All drives and home/limits switches are now working.
I'm using the standard Screen set and I don't have a 'Machine diagnostics tab' nor can I find where to load a new Plugin.
Could someone point me in the right direction please.

General Mach Discussion / Limit switch issues

Please help,

After a long break away from my Router machine I decided on a rebuild.
I'm now using Mach4 with an ESS Smooth stepper
All 3 axis motors are running fine and I can Jog in all directions (until I configure my Limit Switches)
I have used 5 Limit Switches.
One for the Z Axis top of Travel. Z-
One for X Home and X - (Shared)
One for X +
One for Y Home and Y- (Shared_
One for Y+

I keep getting messages like 'Cant Jog towards limit switches etc'
Can anyone help me getting the correct boxes ticked in Mach4 setup and ESS Setup. I'm getting my knickers in a right twist. Need help.

Mach4 General Discussion / Limit switch config help please.

I have just Migrated to MAch 4 with an ESS Smoothstepper+C11+C10s breakout boards.

I have a 3 axis Gantry router and want to place my limit and home switches,
Can I use the same switch for home and Limit for each of my axis or do I really need separate switches, do I really need X+ and X- limit switches.

I'm using the sensor shown but I 'm having trouble wiring it in. I'm applying 12v to sensors +ve & -ve with a 2K external resistor across the Black and Brown terminals.  Black terminal then is fed to the Input of the BOB.   Is this correct
