I managed to make the background black, the tool path blue, and as the machine or simulation progresses it paints its position white. What I miss is when you click in the window all the previous white is cleared and the white picks up at the current position and continues until the window is clicked again. I assume for that to happen that by clicking the tool path window a "regen tool path" should be triggered to eliminate all the tool path tracking up to that point.

I would like to trigger a Regen Toolpath when clicking the tool path window to see if I get the desired effect. Is that something that needs to happen in Lua? Can this be done?

Try swapping out your g02's and g03's. I edited my post processor to swap the two commands and everything is working for me now. It started for me when I upgraded from mach3 to mach4.

I see you are having trouble with probing. If I had any clue how it worked I would try to offer some help

Tool paths are displaying better.

The tool paths moving like that gives me motion sickness.

I guess that would actually be Mach-Motion sickness!! Haha

I found that there are more than a few differences so I copied the Mach3-turn PP and renamed the copy Mach4-Turn and made the appropriate changes. I was able to post some code that works like it should. Problem solved!

That makes sense and I think you did the right thing but Why does a G02 go CCW and a G03 go CW? Is it because the tool post is mounted front and a fanuc is mounted in the rear? I guess i would have thought that those two commands are set in stone. If it is a case where it is tool post dependent there would be an option check box for forward or reverse tool post.

Ok then I will see if there is a fanuc pp in my cam program.  Thanks

Mach3 has a "Reversed arcs in front post" checkbox hidden away in the setup under ports and pins / lathe options. Does Mach4 have one hidden away somewhere?
