General Mach Discussion / Mach3 and UC100 and Windows 10 64bit
« on: March 01, 2019, 07:37:03 PM »
After about 150 hours of trying this Input/output after this Input/output and this Input/output and restarting Mach3 again and again, it seems to me that the UC100 Motion Controller, Mach3 and Windows 10 64bit does not work.  If anyone can show me how it may work for sure, I am all about it.  Otherwise I chalk up buying the UC100, C84 Adapter, C83 Opto Isolator Board, IDC26-IDC26 Ribbon Cable plus a couple other ribbon cables as a waste of money and they go in my junk box.  I have also emailed cnc4pc this information, hoping maybe they have an email address of someone that has it all working together that I can contact and go over what I need to do.  My C83 Opto Isolator Board when powered up has 4 out of 5 input LEDs lit up.  Input 13 LED does not light up.    I have also emailed cnc4pc this information.

Well, that is my rant for the day, week, month, month and a half. :( :( >:( >:(

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 and UC100
« on: February 11, 2019, 08:08:52 PM »
I have the demo version (R3.043.062) of MACH 3 installed on my Windows 10 HP Notebook.  Also have the UC100 (real one), hooked through A C83 Opto Isolator board then to my Xylotex 3 axis control board.  When I start it, a message (Plugin DLL Defective. Reload) after that message, this one appears (UC100 V2_151.DLL-Defective Plugin found ..ignoring).  Do I need to change any thing in MACH 3 configuration to use the UC100?  Any assistance will be appreciated.

General Mach Discussion / C-83 Opto Isolator Board
« on: January 30, 2019, 10:49:03 AM »
Does anyone use this board?  I have the UC-100 Motion Controller, adapter to C-83 Board and Ribbon Cable to plug to my Xylotex 3 axis board.  The C-83 board has 2 places for GND and 5VDC,  I don't know if I need to use those or if the USB port of my computer supplies that.  I do have extra GND and VCC terminals on my Xylotex board if needed.

I have tried 4-5 times to email CNC4PC about this but no reply.  Also tried calling them 4-5 times, no reply.

Any guidance would be appreciated.  Thank you.

General Mach Discussion / DXF
« on: January 21, 2019, 03:22:55 PM »
Hello.  I have drawn 2 Connecting Rods on the same TurboCad program and saved it as a DXF.  When I open it in Lazy Cam there is only 1 connecting rod.  How do I get them both to be on the loaded DXF and tap file.  I tried it in MACH3 and in MACH4 and got only one connecting rod.

Any help greatly appreciated,  thanks.

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 with PCMCIA
« on: October 07, 2009, 06:44:25 PM »
This may have been asked before.  To run Mach3 and Controller Board(with Parallel Port Connector on it), am I correct that I only need a Parallel Port PCMCIA card?
Such as the SPPX-100 or SPPXP-100 from www.Quatech.com     Thanks, Ray   PS: The computer has no parallel port but does have a PCMCIA slot

General Mach Discussion / Reset Problem
« on: October 07, 2009, 10:29:43 AM »
I installed Mach3 on Vista computer and did the memoryoverride. It asked if I wanted to make a personal startup (not in those words) and I did one with my name.  I load (My name)MachMill and everything is fine.  Reset is blinking and I click it and it stops.  THE problem is when I open the original MachMill and the Reset button flashes, no matter how many times I click it it still flashes.  Did I not do something right in install?  Ray

Just put Mach3 on another computer and when jogging, the DRO keeps going after I release the jog button for a second or two.  Where do I fix this please?
Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Probe/Tool Setter Info
« on: October 02, 2009, 01:48:21 PM »
???I use Macxh3 on my micro mill and been thinking about purchasing a Tool Setter (ENCO 308-0391) and reasonable priced Probe (Know nothing about Probes) with the thought they would help reduce setup time and increase accuracy of positioning and accuracy of part being machined.  Am I on the right track or should I just go with the tool setter?  What kind of Probe would I use?  Here is the Toll Setter.  Thanks,  Ray
