and perhaps also the answer to how do you wire it into mach3? you'll need to power the LED thats the easy part...

Homing sensor moved to back and oriented down to keep out as much swarf as possible.



I have my new Rutex servo drive and so far it is doing everything it claims to do, so I should get full speed and power from the motor. When I get it all back on the mill, I will make one final video and post the link. Questions, comments , criticisms or suggestions welcome.

may i ask what typ of homing/index sensor that is?

ok ok point taken
silly me...

Now i do have the latest of pokeys and mach releases...
i have set the inputs up with brains and stuff but perhaps there is a better way of programming then like what i did...
using the OEMLEDs directly to do stuff to outputs and stuff

using an OEMtrigger that is set by the OEMLED from the pokeys and programming the rest with this OEMtrigger?

For the moment I connected the pokeys to mach3 using some brains.
This brains consist of an OEMLED2002... connected to a desired function

Is it better to connect the OEMLED from the pokeys to an OEMtrigger in mach and use this trigger for further programming?
seen this typ of programming in Hood's pendant and it made me wander.

Reason for all this is that the pokeys seems to crash my machines, have 3 identical machines running it and all 3 were crashing.
Disconnected to pokeys and all was ok.

Disconnected the Pokeys and all problems disappeared...
