Hello,

I don't know about the spindle.

For the home switch, I guess you must setup them on input as they are plug in with the nc pod.

Hello,

I just checked on the PC which drive my machine :

Ouput :
For X, Y, Z :
Step  : 1 Dir port : 1

Input :
E stop : Port#1  Pin#2
As I don't put switch for end of stroke, I only specified a setup for e stop for input setup.

All parameters don't write in this answer is at 0 or enable status.

My spindle is a Kress without driving stuff from the card.

Hello all,

my 3 motors can run under mach3 now !

I had two principal problems :

- I used an usb drivers not good with mach3 (Carl from Oemtech help me a lot about that)
- my drivers don't have to be connect as a Gecko driver, so ncpod manuel wasn't enough precise for the connection type I needed, but Carl gave me information I needed.

I took a long time to identify and resolve problems, but that's done now !

The machine will run soon, even if its not completely finished.

Regards

HI all,

Yes I send some emails to the manufacturer. For my first problem (manage to have a good communication between ncpod and mach3, its help and yours was both necessary. I used a driver for ncpod basic panel which is not suitable for mach3.

Machine master, I will read again the links you advise me to try. Perhaps I haven't see something in.

Hi Hood,

I already try that, I check again, but unfortunately, it dont change votage when I choose Active Low or not.

I don't understand why I notice this kind of problem on motor output on ncpod.

Thanks Greolt

I have this diagram.

I tried parameters of a guy on youtube that have same gear than me, but that's not the problem in fact.
If I mesure tension with a plaine multimeter, tension for pulse is always 5V when I puch jog button to make move an axis and when I don't! I mesure this tension directly on ncpod. I don't undestand why.

I guess that when I don't "ask" mach 3 to send pulse, tension have to be 0 V! Is that true?

Unfortunatly,  I didn't find the answer to my problem yet.

However, I thank you again to contributing to that.
