Can Mach3 do closed loop? or double closed loop for DC servo?

Hi,
    I want to do something like this with SS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvxzyV1I8T0,
I will do a test 1st by using a rotary encoder,  CPR=2500, max. rpm=7200, (http://www.usdigital.com/products/e6?specification=single-ended-electrical) single ended and connect  to SS's Port 2 pin 2&3. The port Pin 2-9 is set to inputs.
The encoder phase A&B is connected to pin 2 &3, 5v and gnd of encoder wired to Port3's 5v and gnd.

In Mach3 Ports&pin--->Encoder/mpg--> enabled Encoder 1---> A-port# = 2, A-pin#=2, B-port#=2, B-pin#=3, counts/unit=2500, velocity=7200rpm??

Is there anything else need to be configured in Mache3?

This would be perfect for my 6 axis robot project!  I even have a bunch of space balls handy. Id love this feature.

I'm also setting up a six axis robot with Mach3, is there any thread related to 6 axis robot with Mach3?

                    Yes you are right, I replace the Sunnix to a UPTech UP232P Pararell PCI Card, it uses Moschip NM9835CV and is working perfectly!!

General Mach Discussion / Mach 3 + C22 + MPG problem...Help.

      I'm having some problem with my new MPG pendent + C22 adaptor purchased from CNC4PC. I got replies from Arturo, modified  some settings but still can not make the motor jog.

The 2nd parallel port I use: http://www.sunix.com.tw/it/en/Product_Detail.php?class_a_id=0&sid=479

I follwed this instructions from this link:

* In Mach 3  Diagnostics------> Output 6 LED is flashing(Red),
* Emergency button on the pendent works when pressed.
* X, Y, Z selector, does not work ( it was working 10 minutes ago)
* X1, X10, X100, mmm...not sure if its working?
* Enable button on the pendent works, in Diagnostics---> RawPort Input Bits----> one of the green is on when Enable buttorn is pressed.
