Next dumb question, your screen is too big for my screen, how should I size it without buggering up my whole computer?

Yes, I was putting the bitmap folder in bitmaps, I should have opened it... Should I open the brain folder and put the two files in the brains?
Now I have to figure out where to put my brain...
I do like your screen.

I must be stupid... Just starting here and have the demo Mach3 and I do like the Aqua screen, so I tried to download it but all i see is some blue with buttons, no text, what am I doing wrong.
I downloaded the unzipped, i copied Aqua.set in C:\mach3, Copied bitmap folder in the bitmap folder in C:\mach3, copied brains in the brains folder in C:\mach3.
Started Mach3, blank screen, select view, select aqua.set and I just a blue screen with some buttons.
Thanks.
P.S. I know it's me.

General Mach Discussion / Milltronics with 386SX to Mach
« on: April 24, 2010, 12:07:44 AM »
My Milltronics uses Glentek +-10v analog drives and I would like to upgrade to Mach3, the 386 is too old. There are 3 cards in on the motherboard and I think they must be the motion cards built by Milltronics, my question is, do you think they would work if I plugged them into a newer computer and could I address the slots to see what they do and how I could use them with Mach.

Wouldn't the 3 boards on the 386 motherboard be the same as the DSpmc? That's a PC 386 from 1992 running analog +- 10v.
What I'm trying to get my head around is, how can I use the old boards from the 386 and adapt the to a pentium4.

OK, I was wrong. The motors are not Glentek they are Milltronics brushed DC servo made in London and identical to my SEM motors, both have pulse coders.
The drives are Glentek GA3703.
The motion boards or whatever are full size boards and are mounted the the 386SX or DX motherboard, they have the tach, Arm, analog inputs.
Are these boards just 1994 versions of the DSPMC and would they compatible to plug into a new computer, knowing my luck, not.
I have been around Fanuc for years and can't get my head around these motion boards, but I am not giving up.
I had no success with the DSPMC and the Fanuc AC drives and motors, that PID tuning is nuts, I am waiting to get my 3 in 1 Fanuc AC drive unit back, they say it's all smoke and mirrors, mine was just smoke and a little fire.
