Yea man did excactly as you described before and its intalled ok and switched the axis no problems..just to action on the dial turning..BUMMER!

thanx for your help anyhows..loks like ive wasted valuable money here..for a gloryfied axis changer..the arrow keys are faster!

still no luck with this Griffinpowermate!

Could it be it needs some setting up in the ENCODER/MPG,S  in config ports and pins....

Please help....

I had a few problems like yours.. the cure for me was to purchase the full version and all my worries went away it works like a charm..well except for the dodgy GRIFFINPOWERMATE!

howdee!

I found the thing in the plugins directory and hoped it would be usefull as its a jog wheel it installs ok when i press the wheel down to change axis..cool but when i rotate the wheel no indication in the DRO,s that its working...use the arrow keys and the DRO,s show movement!

so the lemon is a lemon!

ive just installed my griffin powermate into mach3..It show the axis change in the STATUS bar ...but no movement in th DRO'S please help!

More Progress!

fitted the chinese watercooled spindle! thats nice and SILENT! also a mate "Gary" milled out the holes for the gantry uprites today so looks SWEET! also upgraded the slides and upgraded to the expensive extrution so everything is looking good,
ive done a few test cuts and im very happy withthe resolution im getting...only .01 difference on a cut circle in 10mm ali!
