with mach 3 according to manual  i use the following program to check the step error
F1000 (i.e. faster than possible but Mach3 will limit speed)
G20 G90 (Inch and Absolute)
M98 P1234 L50 (run subroutine 50 times)
M30 (stop)
O1234
G1 X4
G1 X0 (do a feed rate move and move back)
M99 (return)
but after finishing it i found it not go back to the same start position
can u help me to solve this problem

if i use mach3 can i block some parameter or i can make some stranded program for the operator to use without changing main parameter in my mach 3 and how can i do that?

in mach 3 can i use serial port and connect it with plc and take the output to certain address and then control the machine from it and also if this possible can also i input some data from plc to mach 3

General Mach Discussion / direction signal from mach3

i have a bridge cutter for marble and i tried to modify it as cnc but its axises work by normal ac motor so i choose to drive it with omron f7 inverter with can use it to work  as servo but when i use mach 3 i can't change the direction of motor from mach 3 because the driver need a contact between 2 point to change the direction but i don't know the direction signal in mach 3. is it one pulse for every change direction or it's a pulse train or it's  a contact  so can you help me to know it's uniform and if it possible also how can i convert it to normal contact between 2 physical point by electronic circuit or relay or any other solution all the best
