The click is most likely a relay. Do you know how the spindle is controlled? I am not familiar with the model. Have you typed an M3 code into the MDI line? If so what happened? Try M3 S5000 (Should turn the spindle on, clockwise direction of rotation and a requested speed of 5000 rpm)

I did look on their website, oddly enough they dont want you to see a manual for their machine.

Why do we need a PP option? That is what M3 was for. It is an outdated platform. It is time to move on. M4 will be fine.

An XML is the profile. It had all of the ports and pins settings contained within.

Do you get power for your PC thru 1 of the legs off of the convertor?

Is your copy of Mach licensed (it should work anyway if set up correctly)?

Did you install the last working xml?

I would think that until the code is loaded the machine should run in whatever set up units Mach is configured with. After that it should be in the code. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.
Just out of curiosity, what version if Mach are you running?

Look at the gcodes you are using. Do they have a G20 or G21? G20 is imperial, G21 MM.

How would you have it recognize your limit and or home switches? How do you set up a key to activate a command? Like the Hotkeys were in M3?
