I have copied it on to a flash drive. How do I attach it to this post?

Yes.

I have the debounce set at 2000. All cables (motor and limit) are shielded and grounded to chassis grd. at one end. I have even seperated motor and limit cables so they don't run in the same raceway.  What is weird is  I don't have the problem when only the "HOME" inputs are enabled! It only happens when I enable the limit switch inputs.

General Mach Discussion / limit switch problem
« on: March 24, 2010, 10:00:16 AM »
I have one switch located on each of the X-, Y+, and Z+ end of axes travels, and have the X HOME, X--, Y HOME, Y++, and Z HOME, Z++ inputs enabled.  The problem is the RESET LED after 3 - 4 seconds keeps flashing, even after hitting RESET again. The only way I can prevent this from happening is to disable X--, Y++, and Z++ limits. Can anyone assist me in solving this problem?

General Mach Discussion / Re: Program Safety Lockout problem

Thanks for the input Russ. I agree with you completely. I think if I wire the gate interlock switch in series with the e-stop button that I will accomplish stopping all motion if the door interlock is opened. The operator will just have to do a homing operation before he starts up again if the door is inadvertently opened.

General Mach Discussion / Program Safety Lockout problem
« on: February 17, 2010, 10:28:38 AM »
Has anyone had any experience using this? I have set up a perimeter guard with interlock on Input #1 and checked the "program safety" block under general config. Every time I open the interlock switch, the machine does not stop immediately and I also loose complete position from my workpiece coordinate, even though it shows that my work coordinates are correct. Would I be better off wiring this interlock switch in series with my E-Stop button?

The remote E-Stop button is shielded. The limits are shielded. The motors are shielded from the driver enclosure up to within 18" of the motor and then the shielding stops. (I had a similar system to this one running at 25 khz without any problems. The only difference was different drivers and stronger motors.)

I don't recall having this problem when I was running at 25khz. I am currently running at 35khz and my debounce interval is set at 2000. What would you suggest I change it to for a start?

The message is " Press Reset Button...Emergency Mode Active".  On the Diagnostics screen, non of the input LEDs are lit.
