General Mach Discussion / Engraving Text with Mach 3

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and, honestly, new to cnc in general. I've recently acquired a Sieg X1 (I know ... it's tiny!) and intend to convert it to cnc with Mach 3 as the interface. One thing I'd like to be able to use the X1 for is engraving text for small plaques (coated brass). In searching this forum, I wasn't able to come up with anything that looks like a simple solution. I've seen something related to a text wizards, but I'm not clear on how it works. Is there a software solution that will interface with Mach 3? I'd basically like to be able to print multiple text on small metal plates.
