Does the folder exist?

C:\Mach4Hobby\Profiles\Luke PMDX Version 2\Macros

and is there a file in there called mcLua.mcc? Are there other macro files in there, files ending in .mcs

from a quick Google.

Stop Mach4, delete all the .mcc files in the macros directory for your profile, restart Mach4. The *.mcc files will be recreated.

You can copy profiles but have to give them unique names, right? Then when you upgrade, just load your old profile. Or am I missing something? Screenscript.lua is CREATED anew from all the Mach4 bits, and isn't to be edited, if I remember correctly.

That said, I like to, when I upgrade Mach4, rename Mach4Hobby to something else, like Mach4Hobby_4162, for example. Than install anew, a NEW Mach4Hobby folder will be created. Then open the old Mach4Hobby folder and the new one side by side and copy your stuff over, plugins, profiles, screens, macros, license, modules. This way you never hose up a good working version. If something goes amiss you don't like, rename a couple folders, Mach4Hobby to Mach4Hobby_Hosed, and Mach4_4162 to Mach4Hobby, and you're back where you started. I never install over the top, NEVER!!

On the FTP page, development versions. It's quirky in any browser I use, but hover over the Mach4Hobby versions and you'll see the version in the status line. It'll be the last Mach4Hobby one at the moment, until a newer version comes out!!!

There must be a plugin for your motion controller, right? Although I don't see one for Mach4. If you have one for Mach4 the setting will likely be in the config for the plugin.

NOW you may find your old screen isn't compatible with the 5000+ versions of Mach4. That's what I learned:)

Trial and test got me to the fact that it's my custom edited version of old wx4.set that's the problem. Everything else, including my old profile, works until I load my old screen set. So I guess I'll have to scratch my head and remember where all those edits are and edit the new dark screen (which I personally kind of like!) to get all my necessary stuff in there.
