Hi, Thomas

Based on the Leadshine 524 driver manual, connect PUL+, DIR+ and ENA+ to +5V on PoKeys56E, PUL- and DIR- to STEP and DIR ouputs on PoKeys56E, ENA- to GND on PoKeys56E.

Well, this is quite puzzling. We tested this and it works at it should. Button mapped to button 164 lowers the spindle rpm, 163 raises it.

Mach3 with stepper motors works in the open-loop control and controls the feedrate in advance. I am not aware on how the units/min is calculated and can not advise you here until we contact Mach3 authors.

the MPG must be enabled in Port and Pins (plugin should automatically enable it for you), but should not be configured with Port and Pins fields.

Just disable the Matrix LED output (menu peripherals in PoKeys software). This is not being enabled by Mach3 plugin.

Do you have any other plugin activated? Also, have you configured Mach3 to use LPT port for MPGs?

The new plugin has never had mapping activated to ModIO. Do you mean by 'older plugin from back in June' the plugin, written by poppabear on this forum?
At the moment, you can map any analog input to any of the DROs. If you select such DRO that is not used by Mach3 internally, you can then read the same DRO from your brains code.
