The kernel speed setting of Mach3 does not affect the PoKeys device operation.

Then,  X0.0031 Y0.0031 is one step in X and Y. This may be due to a rounding error in Mach3.

Regarding the inaccurate 'home' position - what are you steps per unit settings? These may result in partial step that can not be executed by the device.

PoKeys / Re: Pokeys57CNC Mach3 connect 2 drivers on same Axis
« on: May 14, 2016, 12:49:32 PM »
The PoKeys57CNC will not be damaged by wiring drivers in parallel.

Regarding master/slave - PoKeys application is meant for testing and diagnosting only. All Mach3/Mach4 related settings must be configured via Mach3/Mach4 plugin! Both Mach3 and Mach4 support axis slaving.

Apparently, Mach3 plugin is initializing those pins to support the IO functionality of the PoExtBusOC16CNC, although it is not there. We'll work on finding the issue and fixing it in one of the next releases.

The resistor should be put between the probe input and any 5V pin you have available on the board (see the pinout diagram here: https://www.poscope.com/PoKeys57CNC#tab-custom-0

Hi, Christian

You have two options - connect both drivers to the same axis connector and let both behave like a one axis or use the parallel axes option.
With parallel axes (or slaved axes) you can configure one master axis and slave another axis to it. When homing, both axes will home in parallel.

Which firmware version are you using?

PoKeys / Re: Motion step Overflow when i use two MPG's at same time

One question regarding your issue - is this correct that you can jog each MPG individually without any problems, but jogging with both at the same time produces the step overflow? Does it happen immediately or at certain speed?

Hi, GerdS

We are working on solving the issue. This one requires us to change a good portion of the plugin, move some of its functionality to scripts, prepare tutorials for users etc.
