How did you configure the limit and home switches in Mach plugin?

There is no specific pinout for spindle direction selection as there are different approaches on how spindle manufacturers implement this.

Your VFD has multiple digital inputs that I assume can be configured for this task. I would suggest to study the VFD manual first.

How many pulses did you specify? Did you update the firmware to the latest one available (4.3.14)?

It depends on your VFD - some have ON and direction inputs, some have forward and backward inputs directly.

Make sure that you use output pins on the PoKeys device (not inputs as is spindle error input). We suggest to you the galvanically isolated OC outputs for this. Exact wiring will depend on how you configure the VFD to use its digital inputs.

You do not need to configure anything else in PoKeys application other than the back-off distance, which is not supported by the Mach3 plugin.

You will find the setting somewhere in the middle of the screen under 'Homing' options. Enter the number of pulses you want the motors to back-off from the home switch. Note that this configuration must be done for each axis separately. Once done, click 'Save configuration' button on the right.

Everything else is configured via Mach3 plugin.

It supports probe with G31 directly. Multiple probe inputs are currently not supported.

Hi, Alex

Try selecting the option 'Let PoKeys handle MPG jogging' in the plugin settings.

The Mach3 plugin doesn't support it, but you can go in PoKeys application, open Pulse engine settings and configure the 'back-off' distance after homing. Make sure that you click 'Save configuration' so that the settings are stored in the device. Mach3 plugin will not override this setting.

See page 5 of the manual.

Power supply and 4 signal pins must be connected as stated in the table.

Unfortunately, the Mach3 plugin for PoKeys does not support axis remapping.
The best way is to use the external pulse generator (e.g. https://www.poscope.com/product/poextbusoc16cnc/), which features the support for all 6 axes (at 125 kHz instead of 25 kHz of built-in).
