forgot to mention its an ecopy touchscreen monitor and i think you can only run the screen with the appropriate pci/agp card, apparantly.Wether it can be hacked or not i dont know. it would be absolutly perfect for the application if it could.

« on: November 21, 2011, 09:04:45 AM »
Hi I have just aquired a sharp LQ104s1dg21   10.4" colour  screen.
I would like to use it in my mill enclosure.the problem is im not sure on how to wire it up,there are plenty of pdf's with the pin outs on one of which i have attached, and i am assuming its vga or svga?
could some one please have a look into this and point me in the right direction?
  Thanks in advance

Cheers,
the reason I asked is because the smooth stepper seems a bit short of pins ie if you want to run an encoder wheel?
plus I believe there is no backlash compensation?

General Mach Discussion / multiple handwhees

Hi,
I have built a pendant for my mill with an encoder. it all works fine.
Is it possible to put two encoder's/handwheels on so that it is more natural to use manually?

Hi,
I need to operate some relays to opreate work clamps etc.
I know I can use spare coolant g code, but how do you do it without
using g04 Is there spare g or m numbers that can be used?

Yes, no more swarf suds and muck caught up in your ball or optic.
no more need for a mouse mat taking up room. Its just a shame there not wireless!
The number pad is really usefull as well, you press the mode button and it switches over.
I have no affiliation with the vendors, its just a great acessory.
