General Mach Discussion / Lathe offset DRO ?
« on: October 17, 2007, 03:39:55 PM »
Is there a DRO for  the offset number called after the tool number in Mach lathe?
The code 'T0313' reports tool DRO as 3 and does offset by the values in 13.
I would like to add a DRO for the offset used but I didn't see it in the list.
Thanks Drew

Screen designer tips and tutorials / Re: OEM Code
« on: October 14, 2007, 06:53:56 PM »
Is there a LED OEM code for oemtrig series of inputs? I use these for my tool changer and would like to add them to the diag. screen.
I checked the wiki and didn't see it, not like that means it's not there.
Thanks Drew

General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach3 turn not showing tool number
« on: October 14, 2007, 11:49:35 AM »
For turn use 'tXXYY' where XX tool number, YY offset number for example "t0101" no M6 needed.
To set the tool number DRO use VB function  "SetCurrentTool(tool)" where var. 'tool' is the selected tool.
If you dont want mach to stop for a tool change there are options for that in the configure menu.

I just guessed to save it as "M6Start.m1s" like Scott replied. In MDI  put "t0606" hit enter and it runs the macro.

ps This example is for a Mach lathe setup not a mill.

Brains Development / Re: Brain not affected by oem led???

The short brain I wrote seemed to see some INPUTS change but not others. If they work they allways work if they don't work they never work.
Using inputs1-4 and oemtrig1-4. Drew

Feature Requests / Re: New Shuttle Pro feature?
« on: October 07, 2007, 05:56:13 PM »
Could you add mabey two more custom macro buttons to the shuttle pro plugin? My HNC lathe has collet open and collet close macros that i'm using now but would like to add the 'cutoff slide' and 'index to next tool' macros. Thanks Drew

Zealous do you have a newer verison than 1.0 ,that is the only I saw in the posts and the screen sets download page. I haven't worked on my lathe for quite awhile till this past week. But now most every thing is worked out so I purchased my license this week. And once I get a step to analog converter for my VFD I'll be ready to Rock and Roll.
Thanks Drew
