Hello folk!
Friends in the "General discussion" advise me to ask here!
Problem is next - The Master axis (X) longer than Slave axis (A).

Along the full length of master axis, the torch must be over trough suction gas.
Of course at the begin of distance the torch will over front edge of trough suction gas (see the picture), at the end of Master ax torch will over rear edge of trough suction gas.
From here, for to locate torch always over trough suction gas, Slave ax must be slowly than Master ax. If switch on A ax as Slave, the A ax move so fast as master ax. The quantity pulses per unit  don't affect. Slave ax use pulse/unit as Muster ax.

jimpinder - think that it able to solve use the Brain.
If anybody know how to bring to move Slave ax synchronous but slowly, please help.
TIA Inna.

Thanks Friends!
I'll try to solve it by Brains!
If will all right, I'll post brain file here. I hope moderator not against.
Maybe somebody will have this problem too.

Thank you Jim!
If you mine to change quantity pulses per unit in the 'motor tuning', I had do that  - when I enable A-ax as slave it don't take affect and slave ax move as Master. With the same speed.
This is the draft of my plasma router.

As you can see the A-ax shorter than X-ax. At any value pulse per unit if A-ax is slave pulse per unit will as in Master ax.
I hope the draft help you to get me :)

Still waiting for help.

Hello friends. Sorry if this question was solved. I cant to find the answer.

I make the plasma router. I have A-ax for move trough suction gas.
The A-ax shorter than the master ax. I tried to cheat - indicated that the A-ax allegedly took place as long as the Master ax, but if turn on axis as a slave, that moving exactly as the Master.

If disable slave and insert formula (for ex. A=X*0.9) (in G-code I don't use A-ax) When I move X-ax  -   A-ax don't move.

Please help! How I can adjust Mach when I moving X axis - the A-axis moving too, but slightly slower?

Hello friends!
Advise please CAM for Mach3 plasma, that can good read DXF files and make good G-code with interpolation!

Thanks Inna.

As I know, and correct understand you, Mach don't look at home switches when work, just when verify home position!
You may ON the soft limits.

Feature Requests / Self behavior of G-code
« on: November 16, 2008, 03:38:22 PM »
I offer to Mach designers, in the future, insert to the Mach possibility of self redefinition and adding self G-codes. As it possible with M-codes.

For example  some postprocessors makes G28, G29 etc. I'd like to have tools on VB or other, for write self behavior of this codes.

I think, with that Mach will adapted to many postprocessors.

Thanks. Inna.

I was not correctly expressed possibly! When I talked price as Steppers, I exaggerated. Such effort needs us on the billow of reducing gear.
My director ordered to me, to choose servomotors, purchase a few motors and drivers which I'll advise, on ebay, for an experiment. As I understood, after good result, he plans to buy already at the distributors.

Thanks.

Thank you Hood!

Company which I work in, makes cnc-machine recently, and we yet pick up the best variants for our machines. (I mean inexpensive and reliable decisions).
We used for it different steppers, one time for plasma CNC we used Lense gear-servomotors, it is work good, but this is expansive way. I search good alternative, cost like steppers and reliable like Lense. :)
Usual we need shaft speed ~ 300-600 rpm, still torque ~12N/m, and motor weight - than less, than better.

Thanks.
