Hi all

I have just got this boxford running on stepper motors, never used them before its always been servos.

my question is this :-

if I can jog at 750 units/min why wont it rapid at that under G00 command?, it stalls out

Hi Keith,

always image the tool is moving not the table, then you can use the right hand rule.

Stand in front of the machine with the X axis moving left to right in front of you.

Poke your right thumb to the right (X) your first finger away from you (Y) and your second finger up (Z),  these are all your PLUS movements.

I hope this is what you meant.

Why not put a user dro on the screen, then write an M10.m1s macro, M10 is normally used for part counters.

(M10.m1s macro)
count=getuserdro(nnnn)
count=count+1
setuserdro(nnnn,count)   

nnnn is a user dro number of your choice.
