Hi,

on line N8 your R and Z are the same, I think your Z should be Z-.1

Hi Chris,

after reading your last post about it been a hard cut, I would try the same cut on a short billet and check the results, 6" long on a tiny machine, it could be pulling the work into the tool.

Rule of thumb is, 3 times diameter is the maximum amount to be stuck out unsupported.

I have not found one for doing that.

You can get the data like this :-

GetToolParam(SHORT toolnum, SHORT param) for tool parameters. Param numbers are 1 - n and correspond to the tool window in the mill or turn modes.

In turn for example, 1 is TipDia, 2 is Tip Radius..ect..

Nice, very nice.

Do you mean the knot work was done by hand.

Hi Chris,

Here is the latest version with the mods you asked for, anything you altered in the original will need to be changed.

I have added the return to absolute mode and a variable to set the lock back to pawl distance.

I can not get LCAM to process it, my cam system AlphaCam did it and it generated 150,00 lines of code, maybe that's why LCAM struggled, here is the code, it may not be as you wanted.
