General Mach Discussion / Re: Proxxon MF70 and Mach3 setup...

If you load up the original control software it should give you all the pin in/outs in the machine configuration page, all you need to do is then assign them in Mach3's ports and pins.

General Mach Discussion / Re: importing coordinate list
« on: September 20, 2011, 03:03:10 PM »
You can load the list into Mach if you modify the data.

Do a search and replace in a text editor, search the comma and replace with a Y then do a CR,LF search and replace with CR,LF,X (you may need to do a Special/Advanced search for this), this will give you g-code.

Add a G01 F100. on the first line and a M30 after the last line and you should get a profile in Mach.

Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / Re: tooltable trouble
« on: September 20, 2011, 02:48:22 PM »
It is only recently that users could read data from the tool table so the older wizards will not have this included in them.  If you load the wizard and do a button script edit you can amend the code to take advantage of the new features.

Runs off, what do you mean by that, is the profile the wrong shape, in the wrong place, wrong size or what?

Try this code, make sure you zero out the X&Y datums at the bottom left edge of the material.

Some photos of your machines spindle head might help us to determine what you do and do not have.

There is a drop down on the Mach3 open file window, click it and select .TXT

Download this program and run the code through it with the scale set at 0.9.

SolidCAM is the product that integrates with Solidworks so that would be a good starting point.
