Hi, Inivator

Have you done these short segment type files in the past.?

Is Mach setup in CV or Exact Stop mode in Config, General Config.?

A Look Ahead of 200 is big and probably won't help if your in Exact Stop mode.

Hi, Inivator

It could be a number of things, Acceleration set a little to high, If there are any G00 moves Velocity to high, Power Supply volts or amp's not sufficient, Current on your stepper board set low.

Tell us about your setup.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Inivator

The normal/abnormal button will flash if you've changed some settings in Mach, I haven't seen a complete list anywhere.

If everything is acting normal, You can double click on the button and re-set it to be your normal state.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Dave

The Default's are built into LCam's Code, I've asked for default post content list and updated LC Post var. List.

What are you needing to change. ?

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Kristin

In the post you deleted, Did you try changing the Motor Outputs, Low/Actives to the opposite State for step/direction's ?

It's sorta been a G-oust Town Around Hear.

Hi, Skartalov

In the Projects Window, Select the Layer you want to delete, Then right click on it and select Delete, Work's Hear.

The Ooops button will bring it back, Hear also.

Using ver. 3.00.2

For the tool change Issue, I'm Assuming this is a "Manual Tool Change" Hear.

Hears a LazyCam post to try, Put it it your Mach3 folder, Load it as your LC Post (Instead of the Default).

You will need to setup your "G28" Home Tool Position in Config, Homes & Limits,  X, Y, if needed and Z to your 5.0 inch value for tool change.

It seems to work fine Hear, Test It First, Please.

You can Edit this LC Post with a Text Editor.

Hope this Helps, Chip

General Mach Discussion / Re: Opto Isolation Inhibits Pulse Stream ?

Hi, RC

Looking at the board, It looks like the OPTO's are plug in type, Easy to change it out, That's nice.

Hi, RC

Mach has adjustments for "pulse width" default is 0, But many boards need a little more time to see the Pulse "change of state".

In Motor Tuning you can set this to 0 - 5 us and in Ports & pins "Sherline 1/2 Pulse" mode to 40 us that over-rides the Motor Tuning setting.

Your BOB board OPTO's may be on the edge and need a little more Time to see Mach's pulses.

Your pin (2) may just be the slowest one, But still be in tolerance for the type of OPTO used.

Try setting your step & dir Pulses at 5 or Sherline mode and Re-try your pin 2 for step pulse.

Thanks, Chip
