Hi, Rich

It works with a horizontal line on the right end , arc, diagonal line Up or Dn, But not as pictered or with a vertical line or no line.

I promise I didn't use smoke and mirror's hear, Why are they loading in LazyTurn & LazyCam hear ?

It may be a newer version of dxf 14 that your cad's can't read properly, There not always backward compatible.

My BobCad v23 has been working just fine hear, Had some Droughts early on, But I'm starting to Question your Cad programs now, Rich. ;D

Thanks, Chip  ::)

Hi, Martyn

With the PDF file in hand you have most all the info you need to start planning this conversion.

It's a matter of removing the 50 pin interface board and installing a breakout board (BOB) w\Spindle control options.

Tracing the existing Interface boards 50 pin connector and making a 50 pin to 25 pin adapter cable mite also be a way to go.

At least your looking at stepper controls that are step & direction and sensors that are adaptable hear.

Hi, Dave

32.000 steps per should do it, Vel & Acl values, Start low and increase till you get a feel for your Machine, Say vel 20 Acl 5 to start with.

I'd leave it at the 25 K for now.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Mike

LazyCam Turn is a Bata version as is LazyTurn at this time.

LazyTurn is being worked on and at this time will do Rough Passes very well at this point.

LazyCam Turn will for the most part generate a finish pass, If you just load your dxf and use the Optomize function and Post the Gcode file,

Then you can Paste the 2 files together and cut your Part.

We are all hopping that in the near future that both versions will merge together and graduate past the Bata versions Status.

To use LazyTurn, Download and install LazyCam 3.00.2 Update

In Downloads near to bottom of page, http://www.machsupport.com/downloads.php

Then install latest http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,5767.500.html

Posted on Page 50, Posts: 513 File * LazyTurnDec17.zip ", Copy the File to your C:\Mach3 Folder.

Post your dxf on the LazyTurn Thread and will look at it.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Jscevl

Try setting down the Velocity & Acceleration Settings in Motor Tuning.

TAB key pops out a Pendant, You can use it.

Hi, Tweeter

Your printer port uses 5 volts & 0 volts to send or receive data, If your board inputs are floating at 5 volts, Then by grounding/pulsing them you'll get movement.

That's why Mach3 has Step/Direction  "Low Active" settings in Config, Ports & Pins, Motor Outputs, You can select.

The only precaution is that your Printer port should have No More than 5 volts applied to it, Grounding or 5 volts applied to it is Normal.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, David

I've checked 2 versions of Mach3 hear for outputs both seem to have outputs ver 3.042 being one of them.

A friend has one of these mills, I'll see about checking this out.
