Hi, Gilletttom

Hera's a pic and a G code file that might be more typical of settings usage in LazyCam.

Hi, Gilletttom

Your dxf file is zero in size, Re-post it you'll need to re-name it though to post it.
I do see what your talking about, There are a bunch of x axis and Z axis move's on the same line's in the G code file you posted.

Look in Mach3 & LazyCam Under "Help", What version's are you using.?

Back plotted your G code file in/with nc-plot and generated code with similar values you used, See first attached file.
Used LazyCam ver 3.00.2 and it seems to function OK.

We can get in to better way's to setup LC after were on the same page and at least get you going in the right direction..

Hi, Eric

Hears the set file, It has a large view screen, The pop out Pendent is for a Lathe, Just a work in progress .set file to look at.

Hi, Brian

Solidworks should have a plug-in or Post for posting to Mach3, Then you wouldn't need to use LazyCam.

Haven't ever used it though.

Hi, Bell 430

Your dxf has way to much info in it, You need to just draw what you want to cut out.
Hears a quick dxf & G code file and a couple of screen shot's that may give you some idea's as to what I mean.
LazyCam is very basic cam tool and quite powerful in many way's and it takes time to figure out a good approach for any job you want to do.
Keep asking question's as needed.

Hi, Eric

I sorta remember talking with you back in January, I still have your # and I'll try to give you a call if I see you on line hear.

In the mean time, Hear are a few thing's to try,

In port's & pin's set to Sherline 1/2 step Mode and try setting "All" the "Motor Output's",  "Low Active's" to "Checked", If that doesn't Help change them to "X"'ed and give it another Try.

On the Diagnostic Page, The "Led's" just under "Port 1 Pin Current State", Won't Show any Output's for Axis Movement's at All at this Time, So it's not a good indication of what's going On., ( It's caused So Many Issue's / Confusion over Time for "New User's" it's Scary).

Give it a Shot and let us know.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Tinyron

Try setting your Low Actives to "Checked", Are you sure your Parallel Cable is a known good one, Sometimes the Port or Cable Mfr's leave out allot of Gnd pin connection's.

I read back through your other post's, Were you ever able to get Mach running on the other Computer. ?

Post your Mach3Mill.xml File or the Profile your loading/using, It's in C:\Mach3 Folder, Should be the newest xml in the folder.
