LazyCam (Beta) / Re: LazyCam ver 2.64 and G(Mode) generation of G41, G42
« on: September 04, 2006, 03:08:51 PM »
Thank's Brian

Hear are 2 views from Mach3.081, I no there are allot of people using offsets with it.

In the View 1 below, climb is off, corrected G42 instead of (G41 as LC posted) the cut is now inside and is to the right side of line cutting in non climb as it should be.

If you leave the LC posted G41 the view shows (inside cut) but the offset is applied to the outside as seen in view 2 the cut is still non climb but doesn't agree with the leadin.

Thank's Chip

LazyCam (Beta) / LazyCam ver 2.64 and G(Mode) generation of G41, G42

Hi, Brian

While working with another user on Current ver of LazyCam.

It appears that the G41 and G42 are reversed when being generated with the G(Mode) command..

This is in Default Mode, There dosent appear to be a way in User.pst to change this.

The two .tap files i've changed the G41,G42 around and Rem the Post ones out.

Mabey it's somthing else wrong as i havent used cutter offsets much.

Thank's, Chip

Hi, Edmund

The Problem is in your DWG file, there were 2 extra lines on top of the left side line from your 0,0 pos. up about .75 inch and 1 inch. I removed them all is fine now.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Digital

It would help if you could give us more info., computer speed, mem amount, Win 2000 or XP, ver. of mach3.

Have you run the Driver test, or try-ed reloading Mach3   ??.

General Mach Discussion / Re: View Screen's Ver.D1.90.081

Hi, Art

I figured out how I get in to this mode, If I feed-hold then click on the view and use the mouse

wheel to change the size, this is where the view split's up.

At this point I rewind and Ref All Home, Start again Feed-Hold it will repeat as above, this will

also happen in Table View also, note the Big Spindle.

It doesn't seem to happen if I use Stop.

Hope this Helps, Chip

General Mach Discussion / View Screen's Ver.D1.90.081

Hi, Art and All

The attached view's show some changes, In normal view mode the spindle is shorter, In Table Display it's bigger.

In two of the  view's you can see that the spindle and Max size of object cut boundary's are out of scale, this is after zooming with mouse center wheel, If you use the shift left mouse it will zoom normal.

Also note that there is one image mirrored by moving image with mouse.

It will go back to normal after double click to restore start view.

Thank's, Chip

Hi, Edmund

The video is old LC doesn't have the execute line in it now.

There is a little gremlin in the Origin Min. in the view screen from time to time clicking on it will error for me to sometimes. Seems to work better if you Zoom in then use it.

To Reset or move the Origin MIN use the Orgin x,y,z on the right side Layer / Object Properties -
Drawing Origin, change them there.

I haven't had a problem with the Reset Origin, Icon on the Left.

To Zoom-- Hold down the Shift Key then Left Mouse key and move mouse.

To Move side to side up down, hold down Cntr key then Left Mouse key and move mouse.

To Pan View, Hold down center mouse button move mouse.

To Reset View, Double click in view window.

There is a post processo Setting in the Gcode window Use  Default.PST in Active post window,  Use it to see if your Gcode comes out correct first.

This allows you to setup your own post if you need to change it.

There is a Example.pst, Plasma Example.pst, Mill Example.pst also you can Edit them with a text editor also a Wordpad Document called PostVars List for LasyCam post processor..... in your Mach3 Folder.

When and if you edit the .pst's, include the .pst in the save as file name. (Examp Test.pst).

Sorry to drag on, It is really working  nice for me, Modified the Plasma post for our Waterjet Cutter.

Hope this Helps, Chip
