Hi, sploo

MM.XML

Your comment: (This looks OK, but for some reason the soft limits don’t seem to have any affect (the machine will bump into the X+ and Y- limits). I’m not yet sure if this is a Mach bug, or something I’ve done wrong.)

In config, Home Limits, the auto zero Checked, Bypasse's the limit switches and doesn't show the Gray shaded lines for your soft limit's on the view screen. Thought you sed your switche's were being over-ridden

(Yea, that isn't the right values. From which dialog box are you reading them? I've entered the right values in all the boxes I could find.)

I was looking in the Config, Home Limit's Page, Soft Min, Max.

Just my Thought's, Chip

Hi, Sploo

Your MM XML

Looks like your Config, Home & SoftLimit's are set to AutoZero, Unchecked these and check that Home Neg. are set properly.

Doesn't look to me that your table is X 100 MM  by Y 1000 MM and Z 40, -40 is corect may be my eye's though..

Nice looking Router

Thank's, Chip

General Mach Discussion / Re:Loading one Gcode file after Another Problem's
« on: November 11, 2006, 03:20:12 PM »
Hi, Gerry and Graham

It appears that the Gcode interpreter Mach3R2.0.009, isn't reading the G90 G80 G40 G91.1 when I load the Gcode File below, after running Tooht2.txt.

It doesn't change Mach3 back to Distance Mode, ABS -  G90, If I start Mach3 with the below file, It works fine.

It has the, G90 G80 G40 G91.1 in it as generated by LazyCom

It should read each file and set the propper Modes each time just like from a fresh startup.

Thank's for the Input, Chip

General Mach Discussion / Loading one Gcode file after Another Problem's
« on: November 11, 2006, 10:45:57 AM »
Hi, ALL

After running this code, Any Gcode file I load with a G02,G03 I get this error, "Radius to end of arc differs from radius to start on Line number #**"  (** is line # of first G02,G03), on Status window and Lasterror's File.

(Tooth2.txt)
G90 G80 G40 G91.1; same thing with or without this code
m98 p11 l11; Setting's, A set to 0.5
m30

o11;-----------------------------one deg. step
g91
g01 x.5 y-.0 z-.5 a32.727272 f100; A axis 11 equal spaces 360 turn
g00 x-.5 y.0 z.5 a-32.727272
g00 a32.727272
m99
%

A re-start seem's to resolve this until this Gcode is Run again. Am I missing a Gcode cancel or is it a Bug ?

Any help would be Appreciated.

Thank's Chip

Hi, Keith

"One thing I noticed is that after I got it to run a program and move correctly that when I manually pressed a limit switch it jogged the axis away from the switch."

If the axis moves the wrong way when Homing, Go to Conf., Home/Limit's check the  the Home Neg for that Axis.

Haven't had time to read all your post's though.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, dfurlano

Doesn't look like it has a Parr- printer port, unless your going to use a Grex.

For standard Mach3, you'll need a printer port.

Thank's Chip

Hi, Glenn

Get your Volt-meter out, on your Gecko's, Black lead on Power Gnd, Red lead on +24 to 80 volt terminal's is the 24 volts there Yes -Continue

Checking Dir and step terminal's ( Step term is harder to check depends on your Pulse's Per Step).

Black lead on Dir terminal , Red lead on Common terminal , jog the axis your testing one Direction, should have  0 volts, Jog the other Direction you should have at lease 3.5 to 5 volt's.

Your probilly missing eather the 24 volts or the 5 volts.

Let us now, Hope this Helps.

Thank's Chip

Hi, Trampas

450 Mhz is probally why your having some problems, I've run Mach3 on a 666 Mhz comp it ran but was very slow when changing things in config menu's.

You really need something in the 1000 Mhz or faster.

Thank's, Chip
