Hi, Graham

Yes I agree NCPlot simulates both filers, just fine hear.

Switching between ABS and Machine Coord's, They are not in agreement with the Screen View with the Second Part.

Maybe this is part of the problem with Feed-Hold, Re-Start and restart after jogging problems.

Just a Bug Hunter Hear, trying to scrape myself to the top of the Heap.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Graham

It cuts the Bottom Part 2 times then goes to finish point of top part then to X0 y0 z0.

Using Mach3 Ver. .029 hear maybe there is something wrong with my XML

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Graham

Thanks, The Goo x0 y0 z0 returns now.

Still don't understand why it still uses the bottom object twice.

Thought Mach used the  Display / RunData. data-files for cut, Must be some disagreement in the Mach Code.

Both codes posted Run in NCPlot and return to Zero though.

I reposted the first one it had an error.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Brett

It's a LC generated file, gust trying to cut 5, at a time useing gust one ABS file below, in a vertical cut.

My NCPLOT shows it returning to x0y0, and plots it properly, Mach3.029 doesn't.

I now I could just make copy's in DXF and generate Gcode.

Just trying to do it with G92,M98, M99, you no learn something now and then.

Thanks, Chip

Trying to get this code to work properly.

It appears to cut properly, doesn't display properly during cut and doesn't execute final ret. to  x0, y0 at finish.

Have tried so many different combinations.

Just lost hear now, hope someone can get me back on track.

Thanks, Chip.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Parrallel Port configaration
« on: December 17, 2006, 11:47:45 AM »
Hi, Rogerbsstt

Sounds like your Dir pins aren't working or setup wrong, check your dir pin numbers on your stepper board to parr. port.

If your steps are working the port should be ok, Check setting in Config,Ports & Pins, Motor Outputs.

Dir Port set to 1, Try changing the Dir LowActive setting state.

Post the type of stepper boards your using.

Sent you a PM.

Hope this Helps, Chip

General Mach Discussion / Re: max feed rate?

Hi, Chris

Are you talking about entering G-code on MDI input line or a external MPG encoder, you stated arrow keys work fine.

If its external input MPG encoder has it been calibrated and pins set properly.?

Thanks, Chip

General Mach Discussion / Re: Rotary Axis Problems
« on: December 15, 2006, 09:07:44 AM »
Hi, Brian

Looks like Ver. .025 fixes it, earlier ver. were very slow.

Feed-Hold, Re-start, doesn't lose Position now ether in Inc. Mode.

Feed-Hold with jog, Re-start, Goes Bez-erk, into orbit, Spindle orientation is sideways also !!

A axis doesn't rotate with X, Y, moves, (In View Screen Display) Though Actual  cutting is fine.

Hears a file Tooth3.txt "gear cutting" its a little more than 3 lines but it shows problem.

Settings: x,y,z 40000 steps, 10 vel, acel. 1, A axis 400.2 steps per deg., vel. 2500, acel. 500, A Dir set to .5

Looking Better All The Time.

Thanks, Chip

General Mach Discussion / Re: Spindle timing/index

Hi, Macona

I think the only way you could do this is to treat your spindle as an Axis, with an encoder.

Maybe I'm wrong, Chip
