Hi, Bobby

Make sure you have assigned each pin # a Port #, its easy to miss on the motor outputs setup page.

Dose the Port1 Pins Current State have any green led's showing on, in Diagnostic Page, also dose it show Pulse Frequency and Time in int

changing.

Post your Mach3Mill.XMl file, its in your C:\Mach3 folder and a description of your setup pins.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Brian

In earlier versions there was a Drawing Origin, bottom right side, where you could enter new values for origin, could that be put back in.

From time to time in earlier versions I could move the origin around with the mouse, same computer, built in video and second PCI card.

I've try ed updating driver, No-Joy

Thanks Chip

General Mach Discussion / Re: Linear Encoders
« on: February 04, 2007, 11:02:28 PM »
Hi, CEM

Rotary encoders are mostly on the servo, no backlash, liner encoders can cause the servo to hunt back and forth depending on your

backlash between table/encoder and servo.

You'll find them used both ways.

Hope this Helps, Chip

« on: February 03, 2007, 11:31:11 AM »
Hi, Terry

On your Settings Page, Bottom right, Units are thy in MM or INCH, To change click on UNITS Alt-U button and retry.

Or use MDi to reset Mach3 to Inch mode, enter G20 on MDi line.

Post your DXF and G-code file.

LazyCam deals in Units 1 can be, 1 inch or 1 mm, Mach3 determines how to treat them

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Terry

If your using Inch in Mach3, Check your g-code for a G21 in it, change it to G20 or remove the G21.

Use MDi to reset Mach3 to Inch mode, enter G20 on MDi line.

Hope this Helps, Chip
