Hi, moonlightmedia

Have you changed the state of "Active Low" in Config, Ports and Pins, Inputs, for your switch inputs.

This will change the way Mach looks at the switch "NO" "NC",  click on the X or Check mark it will change state, then Apply.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Bobby

Try this XML file, The pins are setup Step x3, y5, z7 Dir x2, y4, z6, If there not correct them, This XML runs and lights the Printer leds.

Motor tuning will need to be set also its set really slow.

Maybe this will get you going.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Todd

If your encoders have Index Puls output there are a couple of cards you can use to be right on every time.

If not then try slowing the "Speed %" down in Config, Homing/Limits, default is 20 % of max speed.

Increasing your "Kernel Speed", Config, Ports and Pins, Port Setup would give Mach more scan time to look at your OPTO Inputs.

Changing kernel speed requires restart of Mach and re-tune of motor tuning, I think.

Just some Thoughts, Chip

Hi, Todd

Ive used the Rutex drives on a water-jet cutter, herd good comments on the Pixie boards, just haven't try-ed them yet.

Thy would get you started, and give you time to get up to speed hear.

Off to a slow start on comments today.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Bathgate

I forgot the Settings Page you'll find a Rotation Diameters setting there.

What are your steps per, Vel, Accl settings, Table one full turn steps req.

What version of Mach3 are you using, earlier ver. you needed to set the F-speed way up also.

Fixed around ver 2.030 or so.

Post your XML file

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Bobby

Have you entered Port 1 in all the Axis step and Dir collum's on the right side of Config, Motor Outputs page also.

Your reply isn't clear.

Are your OPTO Isolators on your breakout board enabled.

Post your XML File.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Bathgate

Are you running it steps per 1 full rotation or steps per deg (one full turn dev. by 360 = steps per deg).

If steps per deg then you probably need to set the Vel and acceleration way up in Motor tuning,

For Rotational View in Config General Logic Config., select Angular Properties check for A axis, Rotational, check options you want.

In Config, ToolPath Config., Rotations check x or y, A-Rota. Enabled and Use Diameter For Feedrate.

My Sherline Table is 144072 steps per turn or 400.2 per deg. vel 2500 accl 500, it turns fast.

Hope this Helps, Chip
