Hi, Escowizard

Make a backup/copy of the  1024chip32sv1.5Q.set,  Download Screen4 install it in your Mach3 folder.

If you haven't used it before, it will take some time to get up to speed.

When you start it up, I like to move the Workspace Window to the Right, click on workspace move it off the screen then back on, then

narrow it up .

Before doing anything click on the None Icon bottom of workspace window, If you don't you'll put DRO's all over the place, should default

to this, have asked "No-Joy" .

Best to run it by-it's-self, Mach3 not running, it ask's  confusing Questions other wise when you save the file.

I usually use the save-as option and ver # so you can go back if its messed-up.

Give it a try, Chip

Hi, RobertoI

Set this up with your settings, Mach3 did some of it also, the Directions may be back words, So be very careful.

Motor speeds may be off and need re-tunning, Ports Pins Inputs need to be set also the pin # are set though.

Should get you started, Chip

Hi, Roberto

If you will post your Mach2Mill.XML, "Think you posted the Mach3 XML", some one will Help you out.

I think Mach3R2.0 will convert it for you, not sure if it gets every thing though.

Post It, Chip

Hi, Chad

Try this, It could be In Config, Motor Tuning the Pulse Width set to low, Step, Dir Pulse's, If there set to 0 set them to 5,

If that fixes it, back them down till problem is back, then set it backup 1 level. ( time that the Opto's have to see Mach Pulse's), it may

change from screen to screen not sure.

If it's ver. Mach32.0.049 re-download it, may have the giters.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Najnielkp

This may be a leading low, leading high issue with your OPTO Isolator board.

Try setting In Config, Ports-Pins, Motor Outputs Changing your Dir, STEP LowActive setting to Opposite state, X to Check or Check to X.

Some controls are sensitive to leading and trailing Edge Pulse's.

Try this one First, It could also be In Config, Motor Tuning the Pulse Width set to low, Step, Dir Pulse's, If there set to 0 set them to 5,

If that fixes it, back them down till problem then backup 1 level. ( time that the Opto's have to see Mach Pulse's.

Hope this Helps, Chip

G-Code, CAD, and CAM discussions / Re: Leaving a tab on cut out parts
« on: February 26, 2007, 08:46:14 PM »
Hi, Sparky

If you generate 2 layers have layer 0ne do 90% of your cut depth the second layer trim out 3 small sections for the final cut would be the same as you stated, "were the bit raises up to pass over the uncut area (tab) and then drop back down to continue cutting".

Once you load it into LasyCam Right click in the second layer theres a option to select Multiple Items / chain's.

My son wrote a dos cnc program that would cutout Sprew's in a round mold that you could select how many. there width inner and outer limits, sorta the same but different.

The multi layer may work just fine, these things always take a little work, at least it forces es our Cad skills to Improve.

I need a-lo-ta-work in that department.

Thanks, Chip
