Hi. Art & Brian

This is what I have been trying to do, Use a DXF and LC's lathe post only to generate a lathe g-code file.

It's working now, Thanks to the fixes in Arc end points.

Thanks, Chip

Hi. Art & Brian

Is there a current list of Post options for Lathe, Mill and Plasma, or a list for the Default Post.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Lawrence

Those look like circle lead- ins to me.

You can turn the lead-ins off in the Lead-in Window, click on a circle/leadin, then double click, The window will open up, Un-Check the Leadin ON Box, Then OK.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Thanks. Art & Brian

Looks like I may have jumped the gun a little, Worked on it for awhile though yesterday.

The default back to "Outside Right" was giving me a real bad time.

The "Ill add a check to see if we can do something with that as well to make it automatic..", Would be Nice !!

If LazyCam could open up in Auto Lead Configuration or stay in the same lead-in configuration you set after open-up and not default back to "Outside Right" every time, Would Help !!.

Thanks Again for these Great Programs, Chip

Hi. Art & Brian

Looks Like the fix is in for the Arc's turning to circle's.

As for the Arc's Rapids changing End's when moved, There's a little more work to be done, It's almost there.

1 Lset file below.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, Lawrence

Think I have the Posting problem resolved for BobCad.

Take a look at this font "GUNGUSH", or pick one.

Give me the tool dir., dept of cut and I'll Generate the G-code for it.

Thanks, Chip

Hi, DrB

Don't now, Assign A axis to Port 2 pin's 2-9 in Motor Outputs, Give it a try, Wont hurt anything.

Hopefully someone will post a for-sure comment.

Thanks, Chip

I have done some more research and now understand that the MAXNC Wave Drive configuration is fixed and mapped to Port 1. It also means all the pins are used on LPT1 as each axis needs 4 connections for the Wave Drive.

Question is; is there a way of setting up the 4th axis on Port 2?

Has anyone successfully used a 4th axis on MAXNC Wave Drive machine using Mach software?

Thanks for your help.

DrB.

Deleted by mistake, Well I selected Cancel the Delete, So much for the Cancel, It Doesn't Work.

Sorry-about that, Chip

Hi, Agwelder

Under Config, 9 Down "Backlash", Don't forget to enable it, Then OK and Re-Start Mach.

Do some testing to make sure it's cutting Properly, Try some circle's also to check it out, Been some issues over time.

Haven't used it myself

Hope this Helps, Chip
