Hi RICH, Hood,
I know about optimisation, but this is Windows optimisation?
The problem I expect is with newer Mainboards who have SMI function built in. (this is the problem witch Linux guys have).
I think optimisation can't  solve this?

So,
If driver test says my computeri is not enough stable, is there any method to improve it and solve the problem?
(For Linux there are tools to stop SMI function, complete or partially)

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 and SMI (System Maintenance Interrupt)
« on: October 02, 2009, 06:46:52 AM »
Hi,
Reading about EMC under Linux, I see it has problem with uniform pulse stream generating, because motherboard's SMI function (if takes too long) can disturb uniformity of pulse stream.
QUESTION: Does this problem exists under Win XP running Mach3?

General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach3 weird behaviour- URGENT HELP!
« on: September 23, 2009, 12:44:20 PM »
Hi,
I solved the problem!
I have set max THC to 10 mm and min THC to 1 mm. But the sheet wasn't flat an when the torch references to higher area, and later comes to lower area, it can't go below 1 mm. When I set min THC to -5 mm, all is OK.
So, the torch wasn't go slowly up, as I think. It can't go lower and torch voltage raises during lower parts of sheet, until arc go off.
BTW, I made test adaptor to simulate plasma equipment (Arc good and Arc led ON). The purpose was to test THC according to THC300 manual, without using clips connected to PCB. At the first time the torch won't go up and down, until I shut off AntiDive button.
I'm not sure if I need Antidive to be on or off.
Please advice about AntiDive.
P.S. excuse for my English

Hi mr.c,
It couldn't be direction wire. Before cutting it performs material surface detect, using floating head and it's OK. Also manual jogging is OK

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 weird behaviour- URGENT HELP!
« on: September 20, 2009, 04:15:20 PM »
Hi,
After four month normal working, my plasma table get weird. (I have THC also.)
Cutting holes seems normal, but when it cuts straight lines, after about 10, 20... sec torch begins to raise slowly until arc gets off. During this time, led DOWN on THC is on, and torch goes UP!
Any idea what causes this?
How to diagnose where is the problem?

Hi,
It's wery hard to find add on card for LPT2 to connect THC device.
But there is many USB to LPT converter adapters.
Question is will they work for THC300?

Hood,
Yes, this is the button I'm meaning.
In this case MachWiki OemCode description is not correct. How to tell to author to correct it?

Hi Hood,
I'm l little bit confused. According to MachWiki (http://www.machsupport.com/MachCustomizeWiki/index.php?title=OEM_Buttons) this is code for torch activate. Or I misunderstand.
I need code for Torch Height Control (THC) activate/deactivate

Hi,
I want to toggle THC on and off using macro file.
Does anyone know about witch is the OemButton code equivalent to screen button used for THC on/off, and the associated led code number?
