G1 commands are controlled by Feed Rates & FROs.  Rapid rate (G0) should not be affected by FRO.  Hit your Tab key and check your slow jog rate.  This is the rate your machine will jog unless you press the shift key.  If it's too slow, change the value.  HTH

Hood is right on the money, scaling will solve the size problem.  Insert a G51 coomand at the beginning of your program like this..

G51 X.90 Y.90

This will reduce both axis by 10%

Don't forget to add a G50 at the end of the program to Clear the Scaling factor (otherwise it will remain)

I use M7 instead of M8 but it's kind of the same deal.  M7 for me runs my Dust Collector and it is always on.  Mach doesn't have the timer capability to do what you want so, you can either write M8 & M9 commands into your G-code to have your mist come on and off at certain times in your program (this seems like kind of a hassle to me though) or, I guess you could purchase an interval relay from your local electronic supply (or McMaster for that matter) and set it up to come on and off at whatever interval you like.

Good Luck!

Glad you have it sussed but I'm curious.  Isn't 120ipm kinda slow for Servos, especially with no load?

I suppose there are a number of factors to consider like, what kind of a machine (mill, router, lathe, etc)?  How much weight are you moving around? And of course, what are you cutting (wood, metal, foam)?

I run my machine around 200IPM with my underpowered steppers and sometimes I could just scream because it is so arduously slow.

I always thought that one of the biggest advantage of Servos was that they could go so much faster and still give you the torque?

Just Curious.

Dudes,

I've been away from my machine for awhile and have finally a chance to download and run ver 2e.  FANTASTIC IMPROVEMENTS!  I'm so stoked!  The new Safe Z config screen is BRILLIANT!  New Tools Path Open GL stuff is VERY cool (on the trippy scale I'd say it's around a 9.1-a good thing!).  The Shuttle plugin is pretty cool too!

Let's see, what else?  Oh yeah, the new G-Code to plain English is a nice touch (but for some reason mine says "Rapid to 1" eventhough I have a G01 and NOT a G00).

I could go on and but I have to go and Jig up another part-

Thanks a TON you guys for all of your hard work!  It really shows and is TOTALLY appreciated!  ;D

Very Best Regards,
Sid

Not sure what 6 axis is but, here is a link to a site that sells a head that converts a 3 axis to 5.  Check this out http://www.5-axis.com/

I can't see it anywhere on the General Config screen.  Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thank You!
Sid

Ooops- using Ver 1.9.91

That's strange because it says differently in the documentation but, Whatever, if it moves I'll take it!

Thanks,
Sid
