General Mach Discussion / Slider and touc hscreen problem
« on: June 27, 2006, 03:53:01 PM »
Hi, I have use a touch screen for a while now with Mach3 1.84
and now I downloaded the latest version 1.90.053 to try the slider.
But with my touch screen the slider for feed rate always change
back to 250% even if I use the mouse instead of touching the screen.
And when I try the same without the touch screen then the slider stayed as
I left it.
Have anyone tried the slider with a touch screen and got it working?

Mach3 and G-Rex / Maping I/O on G100?
« on: April 05, 2006, 02:29:53 AM »
Hello again,
I got my motors running on my G-rex, thanks to the video's and G-rex for dummies document.
The motors runs very fast and smooth. But I can't figure out how to map the I/O's for E-stop and home-
swiches and so on. Maybe that's not ready yet?

thanks

Mach3 and G-Rex / Mach3 and 4 on the same pc?
« on: April 04, 2006, 01:09:44 PM »
Hi all,
Could Mach4 co-exist on the same PC as Mach3?
I got my G100 from Geckodrive today and I want to start playing with it, but I
still need to run Mach3.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Encoder as feed rate override?
« on: February 23, 2006, 08:27:12 AM »
Hi again!
Ok, but could I have two usb joysticks? One for jogging the axis and
the other to set override and maybe jogspeed and so on.

Mach3 and G-Rex / G-Rex
« on: January 05, 2006, 05:38:09 AM »
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a G-Rex from Geckodrive to be able to increase the resolution and
still keep the feedrate.
I have been looking on the tutorial video and my question are if G-rex is fully functionally in Mach3 now
or if is still under development? And does Mach reconize the inputs for homing and limit switches without
any programming?

Sorry Brian, I can't find the "Auto d val" in Mach.
Can you tell me where to find it please?

Thanks

Brian you wrote "You can use  the auto d = tool that you have in thing... "
is that in mach or in the postprocessor?

About the tool table I understand the tool lenght and wear but does it matter
what I type in tool diameter column?

Yes your right Brian I was using Fanuc 6 post and now I removed the D value completly.
According to the manual Mach uses the cutter comp slected tool if theres no D value, right?

And does Mach use the tool diameter in the tool table in any way, for ex. in cutter comp?
