Had me really scared there for a while as i am not used to having something work right the first time.
I'll let you know if i find something. Couldn't let it go, read a book on quality "I Know It When I See It"

Andy,
I created a directory for your wizard in MACH>Addons. The  wizard opens fine in Mach and can add values but
won't post code.
What else do i need to do to make it work? New at this.

Very good. The screen just speaks of repetitive ease of use.
Don't be shy and by all means post some of that engraving work.
Will the wizard ever be available?

Looks good Dave,
If you remember, there is a number of good posts relative to setting up a fourth axis and also a
free program for putting text on a cylnder in here. Additionaly New Fangled Solutions has one for gutting gears
and splines. Learn all this well, find the bugs, so you can shorten our learning time.

 Interestingly, woke up this morning, looked into the mirror,  and I'm now a caveman. Lazyturn.....even a CAVEMAN can use it!

Not sure if it's a XP sp 2 or 3 issue as four computers here and they all do something a little different. When I get a chance, will try three more computers when i get over a friends. Also don't over set your refresh rate if your fooling around with the display settings as the screen may be blank when you boot up and it's a PITA to fix. I am quessing that it's an individual's computer. As long as none of the input fields go away it's tolerable. Sooner or later i'll find, tie-up, torture, .......and ever so slowly modify the little Krelin.

Nothing has fixed pointer color issue here. See attached. But I have to take a hard look at what services i have turned
off . Maybe it all depends on how you want look at it!

Zaaephod,
How fast do you want to run?
How much torque is required to move the axis?
What is stepper rpm range works?
Start velocity slow and gradualy increase velocity until it misses steps, then try going up and down and note where
it seems not to miss steps. There is mechanical and electrical resonance.

I have attached a motor curve for the stated stepper. Note the torque values to speed.

Just curious, if you increase the inscribed circle to .101, .11 will it generate the toolpaths.
Post the dxf file ( or ref the post# where it was posted), this allows others to do a run the same file and provides for comparison. I have found that the slower pc's here can take a long time to generate a toolpath or maybe bomb on
the file.
