If you want to fool around with a 2d file you can use the one i have posted in the members docs for the  Lazycam Manual.
If you want to engrave then just select the whole thing or parts of it and define a small depth of cut.
I will echo what Gerry said about CAM software as their cost is high and increases with what the software will do
and what it provides or is included. Have a look at Vectric product comparison and compare to other software to get a flavor.
I just started using MeshCam, like it, and as it suites my need, but, i also have other software which complements it.
What is good for one can be totaly wrong for another user.  Time spent on a 2d package will not be wasted as the experience  is directly applicable
to more complex machining.

Building on what Jeff said, you may want to look at your drive information as sometimes there is a recomended min setting.

If I click on it (left click) then I can relocated it to a new place but as I said before it takes the new position coordinates

The attached shows the relocated origin based on the gcode in Mach. It is in the center of the piece and at 0,0 just like you wanted.

I don't use Mastercam. You can create two parallel lines in CAD and then you would end up with two cut passes and thus a thicker cut line.
That is probably an easier solution than creating offsets in LC.

Are you actually drillling the hole or using an endmill to machine out the hole?
If machining the hole try reducing the tool dia to say .001 less than the hole size.
If drilling the hole, then you use the drill command since LC only cares about location if memory is correct.
The circle representing the hole location can be any size.

Attach you dxf and i will have a look,

BTW, drilling is covered starting on page 41 in the manual.

All what I wanted to do is to call the piece’s center point 0,0 That’s all

Then either do it in CAD  as i have already shown or per the instructions in that post or if you want you can move the rapid start point as shown in
attached pic. You right LEFT mouse click on the target and then drag it to the center ( the pieces center point will highlight).

It talks and walks you thru the steps to do what you want.
