Maybe when we really get into it all we'll find that if we  know in advance what would be the most complex screen set with all bells and whisles
and you know where and how all should be placed, then at some point you can create a few screen sets along the way beginner, intermediate, advanced....
Just thinking out load as you would need to know where your going before you start.

Portable / battery operated  or electric radio?

Does the interference go away or stay?

I may add a word of caution....
Should you or someone else manualy move the axis for some reason when all is shut down the program would never know that was done and
Mach would not know where you are, unless, you had limit switches and homed the Machine first back to 0,0,0.

LazyCam (Beta) / Re: Licensed or Not?
« on: January 11, 2011, 05:17:58 PM »
They may have supplied you with a license for Mach but they did not give you a license for the Pro version of LazyCam.
That's why it says Pro Demo and you can't do offsets, lathe, plasma and few other things without the specific Lazycam license.

I never tried changing the fonts on my end.
So I tried and no matter what i did the fonts would not change for code and stayed the same.
Go out, come back in,save settings, outo enlarge screen.....
The only problem is that Laserman seems to have his stuck at at some large size.
That's all i know about it and don't recall anyone posting that they had a problem in the last few years.
What more can i say ........ver 3.042.033

Maybe try reloading Mach and see what happens.....

The secondary would be AC and depends on the ratio of the primary to secondary windings. Some transformers have multiple taps on the secondary windings
so you have a choice of voltages available. The AC is then is made into DC by the rectifier. That component is is usualy a group of diodes which clip off the tops and bottoms
the AC sine wave. The AC sine wave is sort of like a female who has a period which is  repeatable over time with a highs and lows.

Try the attached LCAM file. Turned off  different layers and moved the section view to a different one, click post code and and you will see it in Mach mill.
I don't know how you want to machine the piece, so, read the manual for specifics.

Dave,
I have the modified ones and have started compiling a list which will be posted in the other thread on wizards.
So it should be easy to implement what you suggested. Maybe in a day or two......

The capacitor is a capacitor but the word "filter" comes into the description  because it takes out some of the ripple that stills exists after the rectifier has changed the AC to DC.
Said a different way, you have a flowing river of AC which is turned into a lake of DC, the bigger the lake the less ripple in the waves you will see in the lake at the discharge.
If you want to have a bigger lake, no problem. You will find that the standard formula provides for say 10 percent ripple and you can have less if you increase the size of the capacitor which is good.

The capacitor ( about the size of a beer can ) in mine is way over size as compared to the calculated value. So when your dumpster diving though the bins just look at the cap and it should give the Uf and also say it's good for like 1000Volts ( the volt rating should be better than say 20 - 50 % over the power output voltage ). A lot of the bigger ones will say 1000 volts. Buy 2 or three if they are real cheap....think i bought five of them  for $2 each.
