Grayham,
First step is to know what caused the problem in the first place.  Then one could see what if anything could be done to prevent it from happening again.
Best bet would be to ask the seller of the drive.

I installed a trial copy of Sheetcam TNG and it created a listing under the file tab.
Once the program was uninstalled the Mach listing went away.
So uninstall the programs like Hood said and their listings should go away.

the signal is getting unstable

Your unloaded spindle rpm should not vary by more than 1 or 2 rpm. The more stable the better and is  key to producing good threads.
Make sure you have spindle speed averaging checked and also look at the index debounce settings in configuration. Mach is trying to see a stable
rpm for a period of time and if not the thread cycle may not start.

So what is the make of the Dell you are now using? Dose it have on-board graphics?
I have not had good luck with Dell computers. Run the driver test and you should see a flat line with no spikes and the frequency
should be steady and close to the kernel speed.

Jim,
Not 4000 holes but with fourty for a test note the results depending on what one does in LC.
It should not matter in the end, maybe a "little" more time to do it, but LC will try to minimise the moves.

A few command considerations in LC:
Setup>Optimise
Tools>Autoclean
Clean
Select then Clean
-how things were drawn and if there  options are  available when dxf'ing the file
-If one moves  chains after LC did the optimization

Maybe you want to fool with LC some and see what the affect is, but, if you want some specific pattern then you will need to look
for a different approach to generating the code.

Jim,
I don't think LC is the way to go about doing what you want to do. There is no setting to define a pattern in LC for drilling holes. By the time you get done fooling around moving the layers etc...... just a PITA.
