Frankly I suggest you go back and get a different board or ask for some help from the place you bought it from.
We can and are happy to help with configuration, etc, but with a driver board  that's possibly "flacky" we can only do so much.

I would strongly suggest that you try "all" of the software controllers out there and you be the judge on what's best for you.
I surely wish you success once you decide on the controller.

You got a pirate copy and try to use it , known or unknown to you, and that in itself creates problems.
How could you think that for the price you paid a Mach license would be included?

All in all seems you got what you paid for,

Do you have a Machinist Handbook? It has a rather good section on worm gearing. One way of cutting the  worm and warmgear is using an Acme thread cutter.
Depending on size of gear, you may want to try cutting the worm on the lathe using the alternate feed method, still need to do the multiple threading , but using the alternate feed method you can more easily cut the worm. That wasn't in the info i sent you.

Sent you an email. Tend to agree with TP on looking for something usable since  you will need to have someone heat treat the gears if you can make them.
In the end you may spend a lot of effort, yes you will have fun,...but....you probably won't be satisfied with the homebrewed gears.

Can you post info on your driver, English please,  the Chinese version on the web is of no value to most of us.
I also suggest you search the internet about that drive. Not a Mach or pc problem , i am thinking...... but rather bad info on the drives.

Differential bl compensation would be easy to implement and very useful!
You would think that is the case. Ask Greg who worked on backlash for the SS for a few years.

If the backlash you note is the same/ repeatable  for the most of the travel then i am thinking that your thrust bearing / assembly
and mounting  need to be looked at closely and worked on. Get rid of the problem since in the long run you will be a happier camper.

If too small then what size are you talking about?
One can always modify a lathe or mill head.......

Have look at the LazyTurn Manual, Threading on the Lathe Write up, Mach3 Arc Motion even parts of the LazyCam Manual.
All can be found in Members Docs.
There are appendix's which cover specifics and show practical examples. Together they cover a lot all specific to the lathe.

In windows go to:
SYSTEM PROPERTIES>HARDWARE>DEVICE MANAGER>you should see Mach X Pulsing Engnes> Mach3Driver listed under it. You can rigHt click and uninstall it
then just run the drivertest and it will install the driver OR update the driver.

If you want turning example codes have a look at Mach3 Turn - ARC Motion in Members Docs ( page 13 to 19).
I believe i posted the code for all the examples so you can actualy run the files  and see the affects of the differences using the G02 & G03 commands on the lathe.
Covers a lot of territory .......

Hopefully I will get some time and test out the wizard this weekend. You need to realize that everyone will appoach turning somewhat differently.
