Lazycam does not do 3D. You can find a manual for it in Members Docs.
You can work as you wish but using layers for  LC is my owne preference.

If you want to do 3D machining start looking at software which supports it.

As far as Bobcad, haven't tried using it in "years", know nothing about it anymore let alone modifying it's pp.

If you want there is a write up called Mach3 Arc Motion in Members Docs. Has numerous examples and even fun programs to run for arc's on the lathe.

There are two Dolphin PP for Mach, one for radius and another for diameter.

Shielded cables. Eliminate or reduce the noise source if possible. Using chokes, those ferrite magnet things , can help but depends on what is actualy happening.

I'll see what can be done so a user can download what is required for a stand alone installation of LazyTurn.
I am not sure what additional files are required and after downloading the latest LC  & LT version I had to copy  a dll file into the directory to get LT to work.

Should be no problem if one installs Mach3.

If not a genuine X Box Controller than your probably on your owne to figure it out.
There are instructions from Lee on how to set it up and you should have a read of them.
Also there is a thread on it.

Feed rate and depth of cut are defined when you open the Layer Tab  and input information for the  Tool & Cut.
Have a look at the manual ...page 24 and the tutorials / Tutorial #6.

Clive,
You assign keyboard keys for the 4th axis just like the other axis in System Hotkeys.
