Your license should work with both just make sure it is in the directory where you installed Mach.
Not familar with Zen Toolworks screen set so can't give you any specific advice and suggest you consult with Zen Toolworks.

Using the MDI  type G0 X1 Y1 Z1 Then swap the cables or pin out in configuration for the Y and Z and do the same command in the MDI.
What happens?

See attached and have a read of the Using Mach3 Mill manual in particular pages 4.1. & 4.2.
You may want to also look about  slaving an axis for info.
Now you can see why I asked what your machine looks like since i doubt very much that you have the equivilant
of a robot or the secondary axis. Depending on how you would mount the rotary and  what you want to do makes a difference. By that i am meaning that in manual programing of say A you can do as you wish somewhat in the code code but if a post processor was being created then it would probably follow convention.  So in you pic the rotary C would be rotating about Z and can't tell if A is also rotary which would be about X .

Not sure what you did......

Download Mach3 from this site, then install it to the default folder, run the driver test, then configure Mach for your router.
You should select MACH3 MILL. You can select what text editor you want to use in MACH via the Tab at the top of the screen
 Config> General Logic Configuration screen you will see Editor, click the browse and select the editor you wish to use.

Jason,
To do threading you need to have the index working properly.
In Configuration >Ports & Pins check the following:
- Index is enabled - also  port and pins are correct
- Timing is not enabled
- Use Spindle Feed Back in Sync Mode is checked also Spindle Speed Averaging

You may want to play with the Index Debounce & Debounce Interval values.

I will assume that you are using registered copy of Mach.

Dave,
Have your tech hook up an oscilloscope to see what each computers pulse wave looks like.
Compare the good on to the bad one.
You mentioned a ticking sound and that may be indicative of an additional signal mixed with the main signal or there is ringing on the square wave.

Show a pic of your machine. Typical Sherline is X,Y,Z axis and A for rotary.
How is 5th axis driven and mounted?
What screen set are you using?

I know nothing about Rhino and have never used a 5th axis. ABC axis are normaly just for indexing / rotary about the XYZ.
Sorry I can't be of more help....surely someone in here can question more appropriately.

I suggest you have a look at the signal quality of both computers to confirm and compare as that may give you some insight into what is going on.

Is there a source that explains these codes?

Page 28 of 50 in the manual describes typical posted info in the code.  I'll update to clarify that
 R is the tool tip radius and IC is the Inscribed circle of the tool.

If there is ever a reason to update the LazyTurn manual, I'm available to assist.

Thanks for the offering, but don't envision much updating other than what makes sense from user replies.

Frankly never use offsets much here and as said, it functionality was never tested to any great extent.
