Any ideas why the line N30 is generated?
LC does what it does if you don't define it. I touched on how to change / set  where the cutting can start in one of your other threads.
Have a look in the manual, the section on lead-ins / outs.
Sorry to always say go look in the manual, but, everything I know about LC is in there and you won't find it anywhere else.

G-Code, CAD, and CAM discussions / Re: CNC Grinder code

 Dave,
Not sure how far the discussion or what came about from a few threads. Did a quick search and didn't find anything.
I use my grinder as much as my micro drill so no hurry on this end. :)

Jeff,
You won't find much on applying Mach to do surface grinding that i can recall over the last few years.
One of the problems is wheel wear if one is trying to grind something to dimension. Could probably use a
one of the mill surfacing wizards for the code. Better not have any backlash ( forget about using backlash comp) on the Z as you don't want to be suprised should the Z go down too much. The surface grinds are small so you need good / accurate Z resolution.

I have a small Sanford bench surface grinder and only use it manually.

Should be interesting thread.

You may want to have a read of Appendix "F" of Mach3 Turn-Threading on the lathe, pay attention to the figures shown.

A user could have an obstacle in the path so the rapid height would be set to clear that obstacle and not hit it. (G0) When entering the cut you could rapid down some distance (G0) with  max speed and then slow down the axis travel to a set feedrate (G1 F__) as the tool enters for cutting. It's up to the user to define what they want to do. Otherwise you end up with LC's default values.
Guess the wirte-up could be written differently and maybe will do so some day.

Also why LC does not load the Gcode to Mach3 ?.

The only time I had that problem was when i DID NOT INSTALL LC when installing Mach (you are prompted if you want to install LC  after Mach installs).

don’t know why now this happens
Not sure what your doing,  but the way the proflie is drawn in CAD determines the origin and depending on your import settings in LC you have some choices.
You can define where the cutting will begin to LC ( see my reply #5) but better yet have a look at Tutorial #7 in the manual.
You can also change the cutting direction. You can locate the the origin in CAD to anywhere you wish and frankly that is what i would do. Make sure you check "As Drawn" in setup.

General Mach Discussion / Re: losing steps on z-axis (help)

There has been no consistency on where in the job it happens

That is why I asked if it was random. My guess is that  your Z can't keep up with your X & Y and it skips but not enough for it to completely go off on it's owne way. Had similar experience here when I started to do 3D cutting. Drove me bonkers, tried everything. In your case you may want to change the Z screw to the same as the X &Y and or get a different motor with more torque so the acceleration is improved.

FWIW,
