G90 is absolute mode & G90.1 is absolute IJK mode
G91 is incremental mode & G91.1 is incremental IJK mode

In general what one needs to be carefull is that some a Wizard / Program may use the current info in Mach when generating code.
The resulting pathing shown by mach may not be what you want. The code is correct but Mach settings may not be appropriate
for the code.

From memory, which is foggy for Copycat....you are defining a lot  of incremental moves so when you decide to cut a circle at some point it is incrementaly located. So the IJ mode needs to Incremental. That is what my other reply shows.

Have a look in the Mach Manual as that will define IJ modes for you.
Simply said,   it is where the center of the arc / circle is relative to Absolute / machine coordinates or incrementaly away from
some location.

Mach3 is configurable for the way one works.

You can change how Mach will interpret the G code.
Config>General Configuration...and in the approx middle of the screen you will see where you can select
the Distance and IJ modes.

Same code used in Mach, but with different IJ MODE configurations in Mach.

I use CopyCat infrequently. So I would need to spend time looking at both Mach and Copycat to get a better perspective of the problem.
I use it mostly to get the profiles of objects for both the lathe and the mill by backplotting the gcode.
As far as the manual goes, well, I wrote it because there was no instructions on how to use it and accomplished  the writing by hacking away at it.
Understand your frustration.....what more can i say.

Maybe Ron will read this post and can look into it since it's a NFS program.

In reply #14 not sure what dimension you are questioning.
I will assume it is the larger diameter / radius part of the piece.

The Brown pentagon will show the largest piece dimension.
It is used to scale the piece up or down via slider movement or input of a value.

The dimension in CAD ( dxf per reply#16 ) from center line to larger outside here is 5.2384.
It is just a "unit" as far as LT is concerned on import.

In LT - Diameter Mode it is  5.2384    
        - Radius Mode it is 10.4760  
( The value can be read from the pentagon, or, zoom way out and setting the cross hair on the line as the
graphic Z&X location is shown in the lower left side of the screen.

Have a read of the manual Appendix B &C about drawings / dxf / what to do or what not to do.

Remember.....always be consitant in mode / unit / configuration for all programs that wiil be used from start to using Mach3 lathe.

have tried and tried to get the copycat addon in Mach3 to work properly but it doesn't. That was a waste of money.

Not sure what our doing.
Copycat works....read the manual!

Can't open your files. Save as version 12 DXF and also not 3d.
