Yes, you can download Mach3 demo.  (you've probably already figured this out).  You can do quite a lot with the demos.

You can also install Mach3 without un-installing Mach2.  Just don't run them at the same time.  This will allow you to use Mach2 while getting acquainted with Mach3

It is a bad Gcode...
The lines flanking the problem circles are drawn without "fillets" or they are just intersecting with a IJ move in between them.
also at line 329 although there is an arc, the lines surrounding this arc are out of position for the arc (it seems to me).

What program are you using to draw/generate this code?

I haven't investigated the spiral down yet.

Hi Mr Bean,
In the configs/turn options there is an option for radius or diameter mode...

Is this what you are looking for?

I'm sorry MrBean, I left out a key (ports and pins) part of the path.   Gee good thing there are others make up for my missing marbles.   :)

...hummm...   ;)  I think if you change out your power supply with one capable of putting out higher current you will be able to run all axes together with less concern of losing steps.
  (easier said than done though)

P.S.  Like Nascar, You change out that carb/intake manifold on the engine(unless the "restrictor plate" rule is in effect), to gain that edge in power.... or something like that.

Preferably you should have a large workbench, set kinda high, with a stool....This is where you should start your hobby.  Next, figure out what type and size machine you would want and can afford to build.  Look throughout related forums and CNC sites for the multitude of ideas and practical ways to build your machine.  Or if you are going to convert a "ready-made" machine,  Learn of all the available small machines.  Lathe? Mill? Or a combo of both?  A table router?

Ask and someone will provide an answer..... :)

after changing a value, hit "enter" to make it stick.  If you want to save all your settings in a wizard, click "save settings" before closing.

Hi Brian,
  ...just a follow-up.
Did you find anything in the inside rectangular climb-cut ?

Many Thanks,
