Tangent Corner / Chinese VFD with regular motor

Can a 2.2Kw Chinese VFD control regular 220 3 phase AC motor like this one as long as it is less then 2000w

Can it control RPM and direction? Maybe it would need cooling if RPM is too low

I am sorry to disturb you but I just finished reading your profile at the site and I felt deeply in my heart that you are that individual that I have been looking for and so I can contact you for a blessing that you are about to receive and also share with people that needs it.
 
My name is Mr. Edmond Laing a merchant in the U.K, I have been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer. It has defile all forms of medical treatment, and right now, I have only about a few months to live according to medical experts.
 
I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I never really cared for anyone (not even myself) but my business. Though I am very rich, I was never generous, I was always hostile to people and only focused on my business as that was the only thing I cared for.

Tangent Corner / A new arrival

Not really associated with Mach3 but been using it ( Mach3) for a couple of years now.

Just want to share with you my last purchase.

I'm still learning the Haas control.

Worked on Mazak, Okuma and Unisign for the last 25 years but never on a Haas.

Just got it last week.

General Mach Discussion / Saving work offset

I would like to save work offset at the beginning of the Gcode automatically.

Is there a way it can be done with a macro or any other method.

It would open the code with the editor, save the work offset and save it so I could use the same program later and get the same work offset as before.

Modbus / Can I add an enable and disable function in the macropump

Would like to add this function to the macropump.

I have a switch on the pendant to put it on or off.

But if I leave it off, feed rate and spindle override are set to approx. zero.

If I turn it on, DRO's are set to the value on analog inputs.

Would like to add a switch to enable or disable the pendant in so I can use the mouse if I want.

General Mach Discussion / Pulse frequency variation

Look at pictures and tell me what you think. Look at the pulse frequency DRO.

Every 1 or 2 seconds, the frequency oscillate between these values, very strange but since some time, I get used to strange things with Mach3

It goes from one value to the next in a regular sequence , like I said, every one or so second.

No other software are running.

General Mach Discussion / Add DRO for rapid feed rate override

Would like to add a DRO for Rapid feed rate override.

On my pendant, I have a 3 positions rotary switch that I would like to use to set rapid feed rate to 25%, 50% and 100%

I use 3 inputs on the ModIO, no analog input available.

If for example, the switch is on position 25%, would like to write that value to that DRO, and so on for 50% and 100%.

I have tried to write a brain but stuck with it.

Is someone have any idea on how can I do that or any clue would be really appreciated.

I already set up a Spindle speed override, feed override and the third analog input is for the MPG selection mode.
