That is interesting,  what software do you use to control them?
What kind of stuff are you using them for?

PoKeys / Re: RC style pwm
« on: January 28, 2018, 08:19:31 AM »
Yes, Mike,  Thank you.    Outrunner.
I got ahold of the PoKeys support group and they gave me the solution as follows.

The best way is to use PoBlocks and set the desired speed via PoIL shared slots.
In PoBlocks, you can use the 'Extended / Re-scale' block to scale the 0-max rpm to 1 to 2 ms PWM signal duty cycle and feed this into the PWM output block inside PoBlocks.

They are very fast with their customer support,  Kudos to PoKeys for outstanding support!!

PoKeys / RC style pwm
« on: January 26, 2018, 08:49:32 AM »
I am using an RC outboard motor and controller on my engraver spindle and am not having any luck with the pwm signal on my pokeys57cnc.
Can anyone help with settings.
Do I use the Mach3 configuration or poblocks software?

PoKeys / Re: Stuck need some help with accessing pulse engine FIXED!!

got it,  thanks for the help from the rapid response help support team at POKeys.

The solution was under homing/limits to change the direction there.   It would seem to be better to have it in the motor outputs section, but it works fine now.

made a little progress,  discovered you have to use the POBlocks program to access the pulse engine, you can't do it from the plugin configuration.

But now another step backwards, Using the POBlocks program, after unlocking and inverting the Dir pin,  then saved configuration, then send settings to device, exit program.  No change in the operation of the x jog it is still backwards.

I then went back into the POBlocks program and it was not changed, it had the invert Direction pin unchecked.

Help??

PoKeys / Stuck need some help with accessing pulse engine
« on: January 24, 2018, 06:46:25 PM »
I just installed my new pokeys57cnc board and hooked things up.  I got pretty far, have all axis' jogging but have one issue.
I can find out how to open the dialog to configure the pulse engine,  I go to configure the pokeys plugin but when I click on the pulse engine tab
it only shows me the items for setting the limit switches,  I can't get any further.

No software,  you just use Mach3 and the plugins or stuff you can find on this forum.

I noticed this also,  it seems that mine does it every time it generates a G0.
I just do a "Find" "G0" in my text editor and delete the extra line number.
