Also, make sure your Dir pulse duration in motor tuning is long enough to satisfy the drives requirements. Set it to 5 in motor tuning. Enabling Sherline 1/2 pulse mode will lengthen it to 40us (I think, know it will lengthen the step pulse duration to 40us).

Have you checked with Warp9 to see if they have a later plugin? Did you set your reference to and from speeds in the ESS config? Do your home switch leds show the right status on the diagnostics page and do they change if you manually toggle the switches? Are there any limit switches showing active?

I got a test plugin from Greg a few weeks ago that was a breeze to setup and seems rock solid with the very limited testing I did. But, it was a test plugin. I know Greg is planning to post a new plugin soon. What features will be or not be implemented is something Greg would have to answer.

In the ESS config you can set the to and return speeds for homing.

Later plugins are rumored to respect the home off distance.

Very Cool Tweakie! I had to learn how to cut glass when working on a Sunburst light/window over a door casing that was built sometime before 1865. They were shaped like wedges and I wasted a lot of glass on the ends that came to a point before I figured it out. I have thought of a piece a local glass shop had displayed on their wall since I first saw it (younger than 10) and even more since working on the window. It was a mirror that was shaped like 3 doughnuts stacked to form a triangle. The entire perimeter was a series of arcs with round holes in the center. A few times when that magic mirror crossed my mind I have almost researched it to figure out how it was done. I have come to the conclusion I really don't want to find out, not like that. That mirror has become my Santa clause. I'm pretty sure I know a few gifts I will see in the bag if I peek. I just caught a glimpse of you putting presents under the tree.
